As Vice President of Business Operations for Honeywell Defense & Space, Jack Gleason is responsible for all D&S program planning and control, the D&S program management operating system, and D&S SIOP (sales, inventory, and operations planning.) Jack joined the Defense and Space team in May 2010.

Jack has spent the entire 20 years of his professional experience with Honeywell. From 1990-1997 Jack worked for AlliedSignal Truck Brakes Systems Company where he was responsible for various positions of increasing responsibility in Supply Chain Management. In 1997 Jack joined the Corporate Audit team in Morristown. During his three years at Corporate, Jack travelled extensively performing business process assessments at Honeywell locations around the globe. Jack moved to Honeywell Aerospace in 2000 and since that time has held various leadership positions in ISC, AT&R and D&S.

Carole Rickard Hedden is president of The Write Stuff and Aviation Week’s Special Projects Editor. In this role she is responsible for Aviation Week’s annual Workforce Study research and editorial product, and she leads Aviation Week’s Program Management /Leadership initiative. In addition, she is the lead for Aviation Week’s Executive Roundtables and Summit.

The Aviation Week Program/Leadership initiative was launched in 2005 to develop bench strength across the industry in program leadership and skills. The initiative combines identification of programs that are performing, evaluating what the program teams and their leaders are doing to overcome issues and challenges, and then share these lessons learned across the industry through a multi-media effort.

Mahesh Patel is Manager, Global Engineering Sourcing for Pratt & Whitney for both its commercial and military engine organizations. Patel joined Pratt & Whitney in its business development organization in 1994. He led the team setting up Pratt & Whitney’s Engineering Center at its new Hyderabad, India location from 2001 to 2003. Patel was in program management for GE Aviation and in the nuclear and space program for Larsen and Toubro Mumbai in India.

Brian Wyatt is Vice President of Global Strategy and Marketing at Infotech Enterprises, a $261 million global engineering services firm with a focus on the Aerospace and Defense Industry. In this role Brian is responsible for defining Infotech’s long term strategic roadmap and accelerating growth by pursuing both organic and inorganic opportunities in existing and new markets.  This includes Infotech’s global marketing strategy and acquisition activity related to engineering. 

Brian has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Spanish from Boston College and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
